Amber Blossoms

This amber cab was originally going to be set in gold. Like all my other latest pieces, it sat there and called to me to wrap it. I had intended from the start to make a tree of life on the front of it as I saw the amber inclusions in it to look like autumn leaves falling from a tree. Either that or flowers.

The tree was the hardest thing to get right, obviously. I used up all my 26 gauge copper wire on it and it was a pain to get to hang it on the outer frame. But it worked! Now I just need to get it a home sometime.
